Mass with the Rite of Naming and Commending of Children

On Saturday, February 24th, following the regular 8:00 AM Mass, we will celebrate the Rite of Naming and Commendation of Children. This Mass is held for those who are suffering the loss of an infant through death, stillbirth or miscarriage and even families searching for spiritual healing after an abortion.

This is a beautiful and meaningful way to honor your child and help you and your family begin the healing process. The loss of your baby could be recent or years ago. You will receive a candle and a certificate with the name you have chosen for your baby.

If you have lost a child either before or shortly after birth for any reason and would like to participate in the Rite of Naming and Commendation, please RSVP by Friday, February 16t to Luann Sniezak at 636-544-2746 or email to lasniezak@hotmail.com with the first and last names of the parents and the name chosen for your baby.

The Moses Project with Deacon Burke

Fathers of St. Joseph Parish!

Moses led the children of Israel out of slavery because God called him. We were made to hear His voice. You have a powerful companion in Christ to free your families and lead your children from the things that enslave them.

Deacon Tom Burke will lead a ½ day seminar that will feature testimonies from fellow parishioners who listen to God’s voice and lead their families. They will teach, equip, and activate fathers to lead their families through our cultural desert and disciple their children through these tough times.

Date: Jan. 13
Time: 9 am – 12 pm
Place: St. Joseph School Cafeteria
Cost: Free
Bring: Pen, paper and an open mind and heart
RSVP: Send an email to tburke@stjoecot.org
