Men’s White House Jesuit Retreat
Don’t Delay! Annual Men’s White House Jesuit Retreat- September 5th – 8th
Drop by the kiosk in the gathering area after Mass the weekend of July 20-21 to learn about the White House retreat experience. If you delay you may not get a space. After August 5th, we lose our allocation and you may be waitlisted .
St. Ignatius of Loyola, the founder of the Jesuits, used his Spiritual Exercises to establish today’s retreat form. To accomplish this, St. Ignatius calls for silence, both external and internal. Saint Ignatius was made the patron saint of spiritual retreats by Pope Pius XI in 1922, the same year the White House began offering three day preached retreats. Why not join men of the parish to come away for a few days of prayer and reflection. Our retreat will be directed by Mr. Tim Murphy, Director of the Manresa Retreat Center in Louisiana.
