Care and Consolation to the Grieving

Bereavement Ministers are a compassionate group of people who assist parishioners who have lost loved ones.

We support the family in different capacities at the visitation and funeral Mass when they are held at the parish.  We offer our consolation to the family through our presence at the visitation when it is held at the funeral home.  In addition, we send cards to parish families who have had a loss.  We make phone calls letting them know of our continuing prayers and that there is help through Seasons of Hope Grief Support Ministry.

In November and February, the Bereavement Ministry sponsors special Masses.  The Mass of Remembrance and the Mass for Naming and Commending of Children, respectively.  Please watch the bulletin for dates, times, and more information on how to participate in these Masses.
