“When Jesus saw this he became indignant and said to them, ‘Let the children come to me; do not prevent them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Amen, I say to you, whoever does not accept the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it.'”

Mark 10:14-15

This Ministry is served by adults from our parish and open to all children attending mass who are in kindergarten through 3rd grade.

Children’s Liturgy of the Word is offered at 4 Masses: Saturdays at 5pm, Sundays at 8:45am, 10:30am & 12:15, during the school year.

At the start of the Liturgy of the Word, the children are invited to the St. Joseph Room with a Prayer facilitator. During our time together, we will reflect on that Sunday’s readings and Gospel in a simpler language for the children to understand. The children are given opportunities to read, sing, profess their faith and pray their petitions.

We ask that only the children of the grades called come forward. If your child is nervous about coming, please attend with them (or send them with an older sibling) so they are comfortable. The children will return to the main church after the Presentation of the Gifts.

We can always use more volunteers, please prayerfully consider becoming a CLoW Prayer Facilitator for the children of our parish.
