Including Homebound and Hospital distribution
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion assist in distributing Holy Communion at parish liturgies. Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion must have received the Sacrament of Confirmation and be actively practicing their faith at St. Joseph Parish.
Training is required. Current Eucharistic Ministers are requested to attend one training class at least every two years. Training classes will be scheduled 4 times per year to coincide with the new schedule.
Extraordinary ministers are regularly scheduled with opportunities to volunteer for holy days and other celebrations.
