Our Mission

Leading Teens Closer to Christ. As the teens of St. Joseph are presented with the authentic message of Christ, it is our hope that they will be transformed into the light of Christ for the entire parish community.

The glory of God is man fully alive.

We are dedicated to leading 7th & 8th graders of our parish to an authentic relationship with Christ. The 7th & 8th graders who participate will be given the chance to develop Christ centered relationships with friends, teen facilitators,  & parents involved.

We meet the first Tuesday of the month at 7 pm in the Youth Room. No need to sign up – just show up!

Camp Hidden Lake

We take a group of middle school students every summer to a week-long retreat at Camp Hidden Lake in Georgia. Camp Hidden Lane is a Catholic Community committed to facilitating an encounter with Christ and parish-based discipleship. Here, middle school students enjoy a summer camp experience in the context of our Catholic faith.

Retreats

Christ Power Retreat 2025

Dates Coming Soon!
ChristPower is a week-long retreat that will change your life! We invite you to answer the call from Christ to serve others, grow spiritually, with your teen peers, share your faith and grow closer to Christ through praise and worship.

Each teen is eligible for 25 service hours upon completion of the retreat.

IMPORTANT PARENT INFO: We ask that every participant’s parent volunteers in some way during the week of ChristPower. We can ensure that all we want to do on ChristPower through many volunteers.

ChristPower has a strict policy of participant’s staying with us for the ENTIRE week-long retreat. (During retreat hours) We understand that you have many practices, games and other events, but we ask that you sacrifice one or two to enjoy this amazing retreat. People coming and going is extremely distracting to the other participants, so we ask that everyone respect this policy. If you need to leave throughout the week, you may do so, but you will not be allowed to continue the retreat.

Winter Retreat

Dates Coming Soon!

The St. Joseph Cottleville winter retreat is an amazing way to reignite your faith after ChristPower, Steubenville or the Confirmation Retreat! We have tons of fun and praise the Lord! Don’t miss the best weekend of the year!

Core Team

We arm teens with the ability to have Christ centered relationships. We profess to the youth of our parish that this world and the world of faith have to collide. We empower teens with the understanding that they are called to be holy missionaries.

In order to live this out it is our desire to walk with the young people of our parish as a guide in a journey of living out the fullness of Catholic Tradition. We need more core members willing to step into this ministry and learn more about becoming a part of this ministry. This would include spending time with teens during Life Night on Sunday evenings and helping run retreats.

All volunteers must have completed Protecting God’s Children.
