St. Joseph School is a parochial school of the Archdiocese of St. Louis, faithful to the Magisterium of the Roman Catholic Church, dedicated to serving children and families by providing a Christ-centered learning environment where children grow in faith, truth, and love.
We serve over 1,000 students in grades PK – 8 in Cottleville, Missouri. Our Parish relies on a dedicated team of professionals to educate our students, whether through classroom instruction or support across campus.

2nd Grade Teacher (2026-27 School Year)
We are seeking a faith-filled full-time 2nd grade teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Qualified candidates would have a concentration in Elementary Education, degree preferred. Applicants must be certified in Education or willing to pursue certification. Religious certification preferred. Due to the Sacramental preparation in 2nd grade, candidates must be a practicing Catholic in good standing. Compensation will be based on degree and years of service in education on our compensation scale.

Part-Time School Nurse
St. Joseph School is seeking a qualified Part-Time School Nurse to work three days per week during the school year. This position offers a starting wage of $20.00 per hour. Please note that part-time positions are not eligible for benefits.
Applicants must hold a current Missouri Registered Nurse (RN) license. Experience working with children is preferred.
The School Nurse is responsible for promoting and maintaining the health and well-being of students and staff. Duties include managing student health records, ensuring compliance with Archdiocesan and state health requirements, providing direct nursing care, administering medications as needed, and supporting a safe and healthy school environment. St. Joseph School is fortunate to have two registered nurses on campus each school day to support the health needs of our students and staff.
Regular school hours are 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with this position scheduled to work three days per week during the school year. Additional hours are required in August to prepare for the start of the school year. A limited number of scheduled half-days and occasional special events may also require adjustments to the regular work schedule throughout the year.

Part-Time Preschool Paraprofessional
We are seeking a faith-filled part-time paraprofessional for the 2026-27 school year working Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Preference given to individuals with a background in Education or Special Education. This position will work with a preschool child with intellectual disability.

Part-Time Paraprofessionals
Paraprofessionals (para) would assist students as assigned in providing modified instruction, skill reinforcement, remedial instruction, behavioral intervention, and real time coaching as facilitated by the classroom teacher and/or learning consultant, in support of a specific child’s learning plan.
The para is responsible to the principal and assists the teacher and learning consultant in carrying out the learning plan, collecting data, reporting data, and communicating progress. Special training, resource support, and guidance will be given to the para by the learning consultant, teachers, One Classroom or outside sources regarding these tasks.
Paras work 7:15AM to 3:00PM during the school year with a starting wage of $15.00/hour. Part-time positions do not qualify for benefits.
Teaching experience is helpful but not required. The para should enjoy working with children. The applicant should be able to follow directions in learning to implement lessons, collect data, or to supervise activities as determined by the classroom teacher with consultation and training from the learning consultant. The applicant should have a good understanding of the developmental needs of the age child with whom they are working. The applicant should have strong communication skills.

Part-Time Teacher Aides
2 or 3 days per week
Aides work 7:15AM to 3:00PM during the school year with a starting wage of $15.00/hour working in Preschool-8th grade as assigned. Part-time positions do not qualify for benefits. Preference will be given to candidates with enthusiasm for supporting teachers and students, ability to supervise and manage groups of children, organization, and clerical skills.

Substitute Teachers
Substitutes are part-time as needed positions with a wage of $125/day and would cover leave or sick days for the teachers. Preference will be given to those with 60 hours of college credit and teaching experience.
