Requirements for Admission
Catholic schools are unique expressions of the Church’s effort to achieve the purposes of Catholic education among the young. Academic excellence and a disciplined formation will always be the desired goals of the Catholic school.
Central to the school, however, is the understanding of the Catholic tradition and growth in faith.
Parents wishing to enroll their children in a Catholic school must understand and agree to the purposes of Catholic schools.

* Families must have shown an active presence in St. Joseph Parish prior to the time of acceptance.
Active presence includes weekly attendance at Mass on Sunday, regular financial support of the parish, and involvement in one or more parish activities. Families within parish boundaries must be registered in the parish for ONE YEAR in order to be considered active parishioners unless they have recently moved into the parish. - Kindergarten acceptance letters will go out after Kindergarten screenings in March/April.
- Once records for applicants in grades 1-8 are received, the school will determine if a screening is necessary.
- Applicants in grades 6-8 will have an administrator interview. You will be contacted to schedule these.
- All registrants must have in-house forms, a copy of a birth certificate, a copy of a baptismal certificate (if applicable) and copies of your student’s most recent physical and immunizations to be considered complete.
