Service

“But if anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him?” (1 Jn. 3:17)

Serving the needs of others is the radical message of Jesus. It is the path toward true happiness, the path toward salvation.

Community Service

St. Joseph School offers a variety of service projects in grades K-8. Some of the service-based projects include making Christmas cards for nursing homes, letters to soldiers, and collecting coats for the needy.

These projects benefit the elderly, the poor, the homebound, pro-life groups, and the missions. St. Joseph School updates and evaluates their service plan annually, aligning it with the curriculum for each grade level. SJS offers service hour requirements for 4-8th grade students.
