Panelist Tips

Take advantage of some of the features on your router at home. Once again, some may be part of the router’s system and some may be additional features with additional charges.

One tip is to create a separate SSID (or WiFi network) for your kids that can be turned off at certain times to limit when they can access the WiFi. To learn how to do this on your specific router, just Google what you want including your router brand and model (ie: how to set up a new WiFi on my NetGear NightHawk mesh router or how to set up times for my WiFi to broadcast on my NetGear NightHawk mesh router)

There are also some apps to protect you children across all devices like Qustodio, Norton, Bark, etc, but remember to research all of the options and find the right one for your family. None of these options will protect in every situation, but they are a great start! Remember to find what works for your family and have some family time together without technology where you put down your phones too!
