Welcome to St. Joseph School!
St. Joseph School is a place where children will learn to know Jesus Christ as their Good Shepherd and Friend and to live the Truth in Love.
A Christ-Centered Community
As Catholics we profess our belief in God and everything He has revealed through His Word in Sacred Scripture and Sacred Tradition as handed on to us by the Holy Catholic Church.
As a Catholic school, we faithfully teach these truths and live our mission to make disciples. Our students are equipped to know, understand, share, and defend their Catholic faith.

Our History
St. Joseph School is a mission of the St. Joseph Cottleville Parish and was founded in 1932 by the beloved pastor, Fr. Pezold. In September of 1932, classes were begun under the direction of the Precious Blood Sisters of O’Fallon with 38 pupils in attendance.
The school is now administered and staffed by the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia since August of 2007 and a faith filled, dedicated lay faculty.
Our Accreditation
St. Joseph School has fulfilled the requirements for accreditation with the Missouri Nonpublic School Accrediting Association, a member of the National Federation of Nonpublic School State Accrediting Associations. All members of our teaching staff are licensed through the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
Parents as Partners
At St. Joseph School, we believe that parental involvement is essential in maintaining a quality school and consider it a privilege to work beside parents in their role as the primary educators of their children.
