Serving

“But if anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him?” (1 Jn. 3:17). Serving the needs of others first is the radical message of Jesus. It is the path toward true happiness, the path toward salvation.

Student Council

The St. Joseph Student Council work to develop leadership skills, foster community participation and promote school spirit. They learn how to research, plan, organize and execute activities for a large number of students. Participation as an officer or class representative is limited to middle school students.

Community Service

St. Joseph School offers a variety of service projects in grades K-8.  Some of the service-based projects include making Christmas cards for nursing homes, letters to soldiers and collecting coats for the needy.  These projects benefit the elderly, the poor, the homebound, pro-life groups and the missions. St. Joseph School updates and evaluates their service plan annually, aligning it with the curriculum for each grade level.
