K-8 Open House – February 3, 2023 at 9:00 AM

Interested in learning more about St. Joseph School? Please join us for our K-8 Open House during Catholic School’s Week on February 3, 2023 at 9:00 AM in our school gym.

Hear our award winning band play! Our Principal, Sister Kateri Rose, will talk about our school’s mission and Mrs. Reddy, Admissions Coordinator, will review the application process.

Tours will be given by our school parents!

Requirements for Admission

Catholic schools are unique expressions of the Church’s effort to achieve the purposes of Catholic education among the young. Academic excellence and a disciplined formation will always be the desired goals of the Catholic school. Central to the school, however, is the understanding of the Catholic tradition and growth in faith. Parents wishing to enroll their children in a Catholic school must understand and agree to the purposes of Catholic schools.

Admission to a Catholic elementary school at any point of entry is contingent upon:
  1. The family’s desire for this special kind of school where Catholic teaching and moral formation are an integral part of the school;
  2. The child’s fulfillment of the age requirements listed below:
    a. for admission to kindergarten, the child should be five years of age before August 1;
    b. for admission to first grade, the child should be six years of age before August 1.
  3. The school’s ability to meet the student’s educational needs; Determination of this ability is based upon:
    a. the student’s performance in another educational setting;
    b. successful completion of the previous grade level;
    c. successful completion of the entrance evaluation process
  4. The parent’s willingness to accept the financial responsibilities of attending the school. (Taken from the Administrator’s Manual for Catholic Education, #4102.1)

K-8 Tuition (Coming Soon)

Tuition rates for the 2023-2024 school year will be set in the Spring. Families can expect a 3-5% increase over the following rates from the 2022-2023 school year. Click here for more information about 2022-23 tuition.

New Student Application 2023-24 (kindergarten and new students only)
Educational Needs Form 2023-24
Media Authorization Form
Tuition Payment Options Form 2023-24 (attach voided check)
Emergency Medication Consent Form
Health History-Emergency Authorization Record 2023-24
Archdiocese of St. Louis School Health Manual Physical Examination Form (most current physical)
-Most current immunizations
-Copy of birth certificate (new students only)
-Copy of Baptismal certificate if applicable (new students only, even if Baptized at St. Joseph Church)
-Copy of First Communion certificate (new students only, if applicable)
-$200 Registration Fee (refunded if not accepted)
Request for Student Records (1st through 8th grade new students only)

Financial Aid Available for 2023-24 (K-8th grade only)

Fill out one application for all the financial assistance programs at the Today and Tomorrow Educational Foundation’s website: www.ttef-stl.org. The open application period for the 2023-24 school year will begin on January 17, 2023 and close on February 28, 2023.

*Please note families will not be considered for tuition assistance from St. Joseph Parish unless they have applied for a scholarship through the Today & Tomorrow Educational Foundation first.
