Requirements for Admission
Catholic schools are unique expressions of the Church’s effort to achieve the purposes of Catholic education among the young. Academic excellence and a disciplined formation will always be the desired goals of the Catholic school. Central to the school, however, is the understanding of the Catholic tradition and growth in faith. Parents wishing to enroll their children in a Catholic school must understand and agree to the purposes of Catholic schools.
Admission to a Catholic elementary school at any point of entry is contingent upon:
- The family’s desire for this special kind of school where Catholic teaching and moral formation are an integral part of the school;
- The child’s fulfillment of the age requirements listed below:
a. for admission to kindergarten, the child should be five years of age before August 1;
b. for admission to first grade, the child should be six years of age before August 1.
- The school’s ability to meet the student’s educational needs; Determination of this ability is based upon:
a. the student’s performance in another educational setting;
b. successful completion of the previous grade level;
c. successful completion of the entrance evaluation process
- The parent’s willingness to accept the financial responsibilities of attending the school. (Taken from the Administrator’s Manual for Catholic Education, #4102.1)

New families may schedule a tour of the school, receive an information packet, and obtain registration materials for the 2019 – 2020 school year.

Re-registration of current students for 2019-2020
Re-registration packets were sent home: Friday, January 18, 2019.
All items for re-registration were due: Tuesday, February 19, 2019.
A reminder that our registration fee is $250 per child or $200 per child for those who submit all items for registration within one month (by Tuesday, February 19, 2019). For financial assistance information please call Katie Boehmer at 636.441.0055 x162.
If you have not re-registered your student(s), please contact Erin at email@example.com. Students who are not re-regsitered will not be put into classes for next year.

–St. Joseph School New Student Application 2019-2020 (kindergarten and new students only)
–St. Joseph School Educational Needs Form 2019-2020
–Media Authorization Form
–St. Joseph School Tuition Payment Options 2019-2020 (attached voided check)
–Emergency Medication Consent Form
–St. Joseph School Health History/Emergency Authorization Record 2019-2020
–Archdiocese of St. Louis School Health Manual Physical Examination Form (must be dated between 8/19/18 and 8/19/19)
-Most Current Immunizations
-Copy of birth certificate (new students only)
-Copy of Baptismal certificate (new students only, even if Baptized at St. Joseph Church)
-Copy of First Communion certificate (new students only, if applicable)
-Registration Fee (refunded if not accepted)
–St. Joseph School – Request for Student Records (1st through 8th grade new students only)
*Please note: Kindergarten acceptance letters will go out after Kindergarten screenings
Financial Aid Available for 2019-20 (K-8th grade only)
Fill out one application for all the financial assistance programs at the Today and Tomorrow Educational Foundation’s website: www.ttef-stl.org. The 2019-20 open application period will begin on January 28, 2019 and close on February 28, 2019.
