Johan Prayer Ministry-An Archdiocesan parish based ministry

Jonah Prayer Ministry

Jonah Prayer Ministry is an Archdiocesan parish-based ministry in which parishioners encounter Christ in each other through prayer.  Trained Jonah Prayer Ministers pray with expectant faith with fellow parishioners, and serve as an extension of Jesus, as we present the holy desires of fellow parishioners to God and rely on the power of the Holy Spirit.  This is a safe and confidential venue for prayerfully supporting parishioners who would like to be prayed with and for in a personal way.

If you are discerning the call to become a Jonah Prayer Minister please contact Nick Cook at  nickcook77@gmail.com or Margie Korb at ladykorb@sbcglobal.net.  You must complete an application to obtain pastoral approval, and attend a JPM Training Seminar.  To receive an application and a list of scheduled training seminars, please see the Catholic Renewal Center website: www.archstl.org/renewal, call 314-801-8688 or email martiochs@archstl.org.  All Jonah Prayer Ministers must complete Protecting God’s Children training in compliance with Archdiocesan directives.
